Your privacy is paramount. Flux is designed to process sensor data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal scanning data.
Data Collection
Flux uses your device's magnetometer sensor strictly for the purpose of providing real-time metal detection and magnetic field measurement features. This data is processed in real-time on your device and is not sent to any external servers.
- Sensor Data: Magnetometer readings are processed locally and displayed in the app. They are never transmitted externally.
- Saved Scans: Any scans you choose to save are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. You have full control to delete this data at any time within the app.
- No Accounts: Flux does not require user accounts, registration, or sign-in.
Analytics
We may receive anonymous, aggregated analytics via Apple's standard telemetry to understand app performance and crash reports. This data is not linked to your personal identity or your specific scan results. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
Third-Party Services
Flux functions independently without reliance on external services for its core detection features. The app does not embed any third-party trackers, advertising SDKs, or social media pixels.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting information from children.
